Missionary Pastor Hong Shizhou: He came to the United States from Taiwan in his early years to study computer science, and then spent many years working at Bellcore (formerly Bell Labs), Seagate Technology, and Verizon Wireless.

He previously served as an elder and chairman of an Evangelical Formosan Church in Southern California, developing youth ministries and pioneering Mandarin-language services, and frequently engaged in short-term missions to China and Russia. Later, he was called to full-time ministry, serving as the mobilization director of the " Global Life Enrichment Center, GLEC" and subsequently completing a Master of Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary and a PhD in Cross-Cultural Studies at Biola University.

From 2007 to 2011, he and his entire family were commissioned to go to a Muslim-majority country in Central Asia for cross-cultural missions. He assisted in founding the International University of Central Asia and served as chairman of the board for many years. He also established a non-profit organization there as a platform for business missions and assisted in shepherding local multi-ethnic churches. Over the years, he has been responsible for overseeing GLEC’s various evangelistic initiatives in Central Asia, including student ministries at universities and five primary and secondary schools, orphanages, boarding schools for disabled children, and children's gospel work.

Pastor Hong is a full-time professor at the "Global Mission Center," coordinator for internationally accredited Kairos courses, a member of the international BAM Global Think Tank and Lausanne Congress, and a board member of several institutions affiliated with the "World Chinese Evangelical Christian Organizational Committee (CCCOWE)." He and his wife Lily Nein-ci have three sons: Isaac Yi-sheng, Aaron Yi-lin, and Caleb Yi-xin.

曾任南加州一間台福教會長老及主席，發展青年事工及開拓華語堂，並經常至中國及俄羅斯短宣。之後蒙召全職服事，擔任「普世豐盛生命中心」宣教動員主任，並相繼完成Fuller神學院領導學碩士、Biola University跨文化研究哲學博士。

2007~2011全家五口受差派前往中亞穆斯林國家從事跨文化宣教。他協助創办International University of Central Asia 並多年擔任校董主席；他还創办了一家非营利機構作為企業宣教平台并協助牧養當地的多族裔教會。多年來負責「普世豐盛生命中心」中亞宣教樞紐，督導大專校的學生福音事工和五所中小學校、孤兒院、殘障兒童寄宿學校及兒童福音事工。洪牧師是「普世宣教學院」專任教授，也是Kairos國際認證之課程統籌、國際性BAM Global Think Tank及 Lausanne Congress洛桑運動成員、「世界華福CCCOWE」多所機構之董事。與妻子Lily念慈育有三子: Isaac倚聖 、Aaron倚霖和Caleb倚信。
